“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”
― Henry David Thoreau, “Walden”
Gillespie Glen
Gillespie Glen
The cabin sits on 10 acres of woodland that overlooks Gillespie Creek, a small ribbon of water that winds through an open marsh and into a glen. The banks of the creek are lined with a mix of mature Pine, Spruce, Aspen and Oak. Whitetail deer and waterfowl are plentiful and it's not unusual to see an occasional Beaver, Otter or Black Bear.
